Beverley Harper Tinsley has been painting for about fifteen years, predominantly in watercolor. She loves the light touch and thrilling chemistry of watercolor painting, and is also expanding into, and exploring other painting media, which can bring the tactile thrill of texture to the artwork.
In offering her paintings to others, she longs to create a shared experience of joy. “As a painter, success is the feeling of dancing with art. I communicate through my painting, and my painting also communicates through me. It's a sensual exercise in just being, and being in the moment.”
Beverley has had her paintings featured on the label of Coldform’d, a British Ale, on a Brazilian album cover, and in Your Mountain Connection Newspaper, Voyage Denver Magazine and Colorado Serenity magazine, as well as the Watercolor Lesson-A-Day Calendar. She has been a member of Colorado Watercolor Society since 2011, and earned Signature Membership in 2013.
Her artwork is on regular exhibit at Shadow Mountain Gallery, The Painted Brush Gift Shop in Center for the Arts Evergreen, at Evergreen Bread and Cocktail Lounge, Blackbird Café, in Kittredge, and Cabin Creek Brewing, in Georgetown.
